is the beginning of our 5th Annual Photo Scavenger Hunt. This should be a really interesting adventure into the eye of the photographer. You now have three months in which to capture images representative of the below listed themes. You may enter up to two (2) images in each theme, for a maximumof twelve (12) images for the photo hunt. You DO NOT have to enter in all six themes, nor do you have to submit two photos per theme. So shoot away!

Remember - scoring is heavily based upon originality (40%) and how well you represent the theme in your image (40%). Only 20% of an image's score will be based upon composition and exposure. This means you have a lot of latitude to be creative, and that is what we are looking for! This is suppose to be fun, so think outside of the light box!

Submitted images must have been captured between September 1 and December 1, 2012.

Make the subject of your email "SCAVENGER HUNT" so that I can keep these images separate from the normal competition entries.

IMPORTANT!!!

Name your images anyway you wish, BUT, you must include in your email the following information:
Your name
Exact Image Name(s)
The Theme of the submitted image(s)
Send Images to: aces_digital@verizon.net

PLEASE SEND SEPARATE EMAILS FOR EACH THEME YOU ENTER!!!

If you follow the above guidelines it will make my job much easier sorting out the entries. By the way, I will not be participating as I will be collecting the images for the judges (who are not from ACES).

There will be a winner in each theme, plus an overall Best Of Show image, so you have several chances to win! We will show ALL of the submitted images in a slideshow at the beginning of our Christmas Banquet.

The themes are designed to test the photographer in different conditions. Our themes this year are unique and have never been used before so let's see how creative you can be.
